Red Cabbage produces medium sized attractive red/purple heads. Red cabbage can be eaten raw in salads, or cooked. It is high in vitamins A, B, and C, and high in calcium and iron. Excellent flavour with crisp but tender texture. Sow direct in a sunny position with rich, well drained soil with a PH above 6. Keep well watered. To keep the seed pure, avoid planting other varieties of Brassicas as they will cross-pollinate. Sow early spring, late summer to winter. Contains 50 Organically Grown seeds.
