Kale – Red Russian
Popular variety of kale.  Has green-blue leaves with purple-red veins. Grows at a fast rate, up to 75cm. Matures in 50 – 60 days. Very hardy. Sow between Autumn and Spring at a depth of 10mm. Position in full to part sun. Keep well watered.  Space rows and plants 50cm apart. Leaves are highly nutritious, containing high levels of vitamins and minerals. It is recommended that the young leaves be eaten raw and the old leaves be cooked, like cabbage. Pick leaves as required.
 
Contains approximately 50 organically grown seeds.
